Our address has changed from the one on the Confirmation of Permanent Residence and I'm anxious about my husband's PR card getting to us correctly after he lands.

He can't use ECAS because he's not in process any longer, but he won't be landing until January.

Any suggestions? Can he just change it at the border or do we have to call somewhere? We are not yet in Canada; I don't want any problems because of this but I don't trust Canada Post to just forward something like this.

Thanks!

You can change it at the border when you land. In fact, the immigration official handling the landing will ask your husband what his address in Canada will be and write it down on the COPR. That is the address that the PR card is mailed to.

Thanks. Great relief. Do they require any proof like a lease or is it ok just to tell them?

No proof needed. They are not there to get proof of any residency. They just want to know where to mail your PR card to. Make sure you pay attention when the officer writes the address down. In my wife's case, he forgot to put the postal code down even though it was on the paper I handed him (I had a printout of the address to put down). I noticed this and pointed it out and he made the correction.
