Hi there,

I have been working as full-time (more than 30 hours a week) for more than 1 year now and there are 3 weeks that I worked less than 30 hours.

I worked 20.5 hours, 8 hours, and 6 hours each of the week.

In this case, the total working hours of those weeks will be 34.5 hours. Can I consider it into 1 full-time week?

Nope. Minimum is 15 hours to count and more than 30 is just 30. 8 and 6 won’t count

That's absolutely incorrect. No such thing as minimum 15 hrs required for part-time experience.

So, do you mean that my part-time weeks can be considered as 1 full-time week?

I am sorry,. What do you mean by 'you can add those hours to your main total'?
I just thought by adding those part-time hours it can be more than 30 hours so it can be equal amount to 1 week of full time..

Can you elaborate what you're trying to do? You said you've been working full-time for over a year, so I guess my question is how are those 3 weeks relevant? Are those 3 weeks needed for you to meet the MEC?

Yes even though I have been working full time for more than a year which I met a One-full year, there were only 3 weeks that I worked part-time and I want to claim this hours to meet the 1560 hours/30 weeks.

Well, you can certainly add them up to have the equivalent of a week of full-time work experience. That's all I can say though, I still don't quite understand the situation.

For detail, I thought I have met 1560/30 weeks for CEC requirements by the time I got my ITA.

Because I believed my probation period is for sure counted as a part of my 1 year of work experience. As soon as I got my full-time job offer letter, I started to get trained as a supervisor (which I believed as a probation period), then my wage was increased a couple of weeks later.

But my employer denied to write the reference letter starting from the probation time, but from the time my wage increased.

That is why I needed to add up all the part-time hours to make sure if I still meet the requirement. Thank you for your advice, anyways.

I thought more than 15 hours of part-time weeks would be only counted.
