hi everyone pls. i just want to ask how to apply in hong kong as a caregiver if example im a visit visa?is it possible? im going back to philippines this march so im planning to go in hong kong...please i really need an answer...thanks! have a nice day!

Sorry you can't submit application to hk with visitors visa. You must be on a work permit to qualify or legally admitted.


Applicants for Temporary Resident Visas, Study Permits and Work Permits
You must select the visa office that serves your country of residence, your country of nationality or the country where you have been legally admitted.

You can only apply to a country (where you are not a citizen) if you are legally admitted to stay for at least one year.

Yes you can apply even when you are just visiting HK, you just need to show proof of your legal status where you apply.

Having a visitor's visa is legit. She is qualified to apply as long as she prove strong ties to her home country.

Not in hk or any country outside Canada. What you refer to is that when you're inside Canada. As visitor's to worker. There's one here refused visa in Singapore

If the OP is referring that she's on a visit visa while in Canada then yes she can't apply her TWP applications in HK. She must submit her applications to the visa office of her nationality or the country where she's legally admitted =)
