See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/index.asp and http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/philippines/study-etudie/index.aspx?lang=eng&menu_id=4

You realize how expensive it is for foreign students? University is about $12K-$15K per year, and then you have to show $10K for living expenses.

@ bea_macalino what are your real plans for coming to Canada?

To be able to get a study permit for Canada, you need to have a letter from the school which you are applying to that you have been accepted in a program. Also, you need to be able to prove that you can pay for your schooling.

Re: student visa rejected, will apply again,,,good idea?

His plan is to emigrate to canada. That is obvious from his posting. He has no interest in studying. Lets hope the vo in his home country reject his student app.

Who does not emigrAte. Atleast he is honest about his intentions. To original poster, just do not give a hint to visa officer that you would emigrate there by showing that your relatives live there or sponsor from there . It can go against you.
