I have applied for canadian immigration in dec 2009 and in feb 2012 i have got the refusal letter. The letter is describing that i cannot provide the sufficient proof for adaptability points. My wife real sister is living in canada and she is permanent resident.I had provided the land paper and marriage certificate according to the immigration guide.

My IELTS score is writing 6.5,Listening 6.5, reading 6.0 and speaking 6.5 which score 10 but in my refusal letter they mentioned the award point 8

can any body help me how to tackle this issue.

i dont think u ll get any points from ur wife sisters. If ur wife is principal applicant than she ll get the points.

dear in IELTS you have scored 12 points not 10 points. so if ur score is 67 without adaptability then u should ask vo to reopen ur case.

In speaking i got 6.0 point rather than 6.5 sorry miscommunicate.

According to policy and guide, i can avail the point of my spouse' sibiling too.

So pl let me know what i right to them?

If you only provided landing papers and marriage certificate - this is not enough to obtain adaptability points. You must also prove that your wife's sister is actually living in Canada through tax returns, bills, etc.

thanks for reply

she is housewife there. Can her husband bills or tax return or other documents will be helpful?

They didn't award me my ielts full points, According to IELTS certificate i got 10 points but vo give me 8 points

kindly guide me what to do next.

everything need to be look logical. it would have been better if she had a bank account in Canada. u can try giving them the spouse's papers along with their marriage certificate, their photos with your wife, etc. as per my knowledge, CIO will not take any new evidence with your file but again there's a chance as it's in VO... what your rejection letter say actually?? how much time do you have for appealing? if u are sure about the IELTS then e-mail them immediately, telling that it's their error. when I got NER, first thing I did was a e-mail but they didn't responded within the given time period by their answering e-mail... so after that I did a FAX and within a week, I got result.

Read the OP's post. He supplied the "land paper" and marriage certificate. He needed to supply his wife's birth certificate, her sister's birth certificate (same parents) and the marriage certificates. Her PR card, and receipts and bills that prove that she is residing in Canada. Without the birth certificates, no proof of relationship,no adaptability points.

What about her sister's birth certificate and marriage certificate? If you didn't supply the sister's BC then no points.
