Need some advice please.

I had PR status as a dependent of my father a few years ago. I couldn't make the requisite days to keep it due to personal reasons, and hence I lost it. Now I am applying through Express Entry again.

There is a question on the online form that states:

Have you applied for Permanent Residency before?

I am confused about how to answer it, as I never applied by myself but got it through my father. If I say yes, then do you know where to find the "PR File Number" that is asks for? How does it look like? I do have the landing document and the expired visa on my passport for reference.

Thanks.

You should have UCI number in your Canadian Immigrant Visa, try accessing the file number using it.

I know the UCI number. Is there a CIC website where I can input the UCI and get to know the PR file number? There is no data on my past PR on myCIC, probably because it was managed by an old system years ago.

I would expect that if you called CIC and told them your UCI (along with other identifying information), they'd be able to tell you your CoPR number. Either that or write them an email (calling will be MUCH faster though).
