Hello Everyone,

I am presently residing in Canada and I have applied for sponsorship for my wife. Me and wife are expecting a baby very soon. I was wondering how would I add my new born child to the application. My wife is residing in Pakistan.

Any help will be much appreciated.

We're on the same boat! I am being sponsored by my husband(PR)and I'm pregnant when we sent our application to cic last august 27, 2015. Our baby was born last oct 14, my husband called cic to inform about the birth of our baby and inform
them to add the baby as dependent.

Once your child is born, send an email to the Vo handling your case via the specific case inquiry form and include updated family information form and a birth certificate. Congrats for the new family member:)

You should wait until you get your SA and your file transferred to the visa office which will handle the 2nd part of your application. Once you get AOR2 and additional instructions from them, in your reply you should include letter explaining your situation, new family information form, as well the birth certificate.

Thank you sashali78, hoping all goes well.
