How Soon for TRV

My current TRV expires Dec 20,2016. I would like to travel Dec 23 , is it too early to apply for a new TRV ?

Asking for visa officer notes affects future decisions ? As this is my 4th TRV and all issued for short periods 3 yrs max... No other Country issued such short TRV. Port of Spain office.

Yes. At most 1 month before it expires. If done too early your application will be turned down.

No.

No other Country issued such short TRV.

Mexico issues TRVs for less than 6 months. That is just an example.

Thanks, that last sentence should read - No other country issued me with so much short visa... US first application 10 years , Canada i dont know the reason. I am tempted to get visa officers notes.
