HOW SOON CAN I LEAVE FOR CANADA

I am joining university in B.C I in the Fall 2011 that is around september.How soon can i travel to canada after getting my visa.
June,july,august, etc or provided i have the study visa i can leave for canada without any problems at the port of entry.

Actually, that's not necessarily true. There was a story here a while ago about someone who wasn't allowed into Canada because they arrived too far in advance. I think they tried to enter Canada three months before their classes were scheduled to start. They were refused entry and told to return closer to the start of classes. I don't think this happens often - but it does happen.
