How recent should be the proof of funds letter

Friends how recently should the POF letter from the bank be dated. We have the letter dated for Dec 8th where as we will be submitting the application by last week of December. Is this okay? Also is bank statements required?

That's perfectly fine. You should include bank statements if your bank letter does not contain the av. balance of the past 6 months.

Okay in that case, should we just show the balance until Dec 8th or until when we submit the application
