I don't know why.. but this really affected me! I think I pictured you sitting there freaking out while your partner was inside and knew that I will likely be in this same situation in a few months... and I just started bawling. It's so much stress and worry to be with the person you love... and so much riding on everything... I am so happy for you and I hope that we have such a positive experience. Thanks for sharing... I need kleenex now.

Oh what a wonderful story Mrs Its CoEzy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A mix of laughter and tears and your prayers kept you grounded.

Congratulations to both you and Mr. R!!

Congratulations to you and your hubby. I read about your experience and very happy it went well. i would freak out just the way you did. :P

I'm loving your blog! I forgot you met him on vacation. That's very romantic. I loved the stories about his point of view - like of the ferry and the "cold" in August and the interview. Congrats on your visa!

So do you have Mexican blood or speak Spanish? Or does he speak English

Yaay! Congrats! You must be so relieved! I hope the rest of the stuff goes really quickly and he receives his visa in no time! :)

Congrats,happy for you,touching interview,but a happy ending.

Thanks so much everyone :) Was a crazy experience but I'm glad it's over! Goodluck to those that have upcoming interviews!

Hey Canadiangirl78!
Thanks too much :) His point of view is so funny sometimes, I love it!

He didn't speak hardly any english when we met. Just enough to get by at work. And my Spanish... haha, 2 days before I met him I learned how to say "hola"
It was a very long but fun and also frustrating journey to learn eachothers languages. We haven't perfected them yet but gone are the days we need to carry our dictionary with us everywhere we go. hahaha.

You are too sweet! <3 Sending you hugs and a kleenex :P.

The process is stressful and I wish I could offer up some advice to keep you from worrying but as you read in the blog, I wasn't the best at keeping calm.

Crossing my fingers you guys don't have to go through the added stress of an interview. But if you do, don't consider yourself denied. Someone once told me on the forum something that really helped in the days leading up the interview. After reading I had an interview scheduled they said, "To me this sounds very positive - they are giving you an opportunity to show your amazing, genuine, real-life relationship in a way that cannot be conveyed through electricity bills"
-I LOVED THAT! I reminded myself of that everyday, it really helped.

Goodluck <3

I'm sooooo happy for you :) Glad it went so well.

They probably saw your entry stamps to Mexico and used them to match up timing. ;)

yah I'm thinking that too! So glad I ended up giving it to them. The ONLY thing that was not included in my original application that they wanted to see or talk about was my passport. All other FM3 visa cards and plane tickets/dates etc were all in there so it's obvious that, along with Ricardo's cute smile had a lot of weight to our approval. :)

YAY

Thanks too for your sweet message. You always send messages right at the perfect time :)

itscoezy, I am going through something similar to you, I was hoping you could share some of your experiences with me. Feel free to send me an email marsmediafl@gmail.com thanks!
