How Old Can Background Checks Be?

Hi everyone,

I am currently applying for Criminal Rehabilitation. One of my background checks is taking forever. I have all the other ones since the beginning of April. Does anyone know when they "expire"/when would I have to get updated ones? I think I read 3 or 6 months somewhere, but I am wondering whether anyone knows more, or even something from the Canadian website since I couldn't find anything..
