Hi all,
I am a safety engineer and recognised by the UK Institution of Chemical Engineer (IChemE). However, my undergraduate and my master degree were not about safety engineering, not even about engineering.
I just wonder how my "safety engineer" profession can be recognized under the scheme.
Do I have to go to some institution in Canada to get my working experience and my membership with IChemE assessed prior to the application of Express Entry?

According to the page : NOC 2141 Industrial and manufacturing engineers

A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or in a related engineering discipline is required.
A master's degree or doctorate in a related engineering discipline may be required.

I am very worried about that.
It would be great if I can get some insights from you guys.
Thank you very much!

Your degrees need not be in Engineering for immigration pourposes, just ensure you have them evaluated as equivalent to Canadian degrees and you'll be fine.
