HOW MUCH TIME DID IT TAKE YOU TO GET THE VISA UPON SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION?

Would like to know how much time it took you (the ones who've received) to get the visa after submitting the application and paying both the fees i.e the visa fee as well as the PR fee.

It took me about 3 months total.
After 2 months I requested GCIMS notes since nothing had changed after submitting application, not even medicals. I guess that forced them to pick up my file and I had everything 1 month later.
My case was easy and straight shot. Single, no dependents.

My medicals have been cleared yesterday which was 9th day of submitting my application.
I too think, 3 months should be more than enough to get through...

We (Me and my wife ) also got the confirmation about our medical today morning 9 days after submitting the application. I think the time frame maybe the same for you and us. Can we keep updating each other on the status updates? Also, do you know any other members on this group who have applied in the same time frame like us?

Yes. Mine & wife's medicals got cleared on 9th day of submission as well.
Yes. The time frame is same, but depends on case to case.
Looking forward to seeing the next update from CIC.

How about you?? Any updates on your application??

Sorry, just seeing this now.
There are a couple of websites. I used visafileinfo.com.
After they submitted the request, I saw my medicals and background status change. After that they requested passport in a month's time.

Hi,

There is only two ways to come inside canada - Student or PR .
As you both have experience check your poings in crs calculator - "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp"
you will get a rough idea where you stand.

Hey good to know that, I think our time line is matching.... We also applied for Visa on 27th Sept and got it stamped by Oct 11 or 12 not sure about the exact dates. Now we are planning to travel in the month of Feb 2018.
