Dear Members,
Can you please let me know what is RPRF. If it is Right for Permanent Residence Fee than why they are asking from you now? Didn't send you it while submitting full docs to local visa office?

2nd what is foreign travel documents are you talking about?

Thanks

Ash

Hi Jigna,

You are right. From the previous postings in this forum, you will get the visa and COPR with in 3-4 weeks from ND visa office. All the best for your final step in your PR journey..

Ash1967, RPRF is Right to Permanent Residence Fees. In New Delhi visa office, you can enclose the RPRF fees with the original application or you can opt to pay later on. In that case the visa office will ask for the RPRF fees along with medical/passport request. Those who have not paid it in the beginning of the visa office stage application are paying it with medicals. Hope it is clear now.

You are yet to answer what foreign travel document is?
Anyone?

FOREIGN TRAVEL DOCUMENT IS DOCUMENT WHICH WILL GIVE FOREIGN TRAVEL DETAILS...IF U HAVE TRAVELLED OUT OF YOUR HOME COUNTRY....

IF U HAVENT THEN JUST WRITE "NILL"

you exactly need 15 days from the day which you sent the passport.
RPRF (Right of Permanent Resident fees) aplicable for all aplicants over 18 years.
have a good luck

hi matart...
it means after 15 days i ll receive my stamped passport???
plz reply...

HI guys,
Its a frustating exp for me for last couple of days.
I am eagerly awaiting medicals and PPR but have not received yet!
CHC had asked me to send them revised background dec form and travel form which I have sent it on 19th and reached CHC on 21st Sep but have not yet received any medical or PPR updates so bit worried!
Has any one gone through same exp?
How many days it takes for CHC to responds to case specific requiremnets fulfilled as their requirements ahs been fulfilled by me in terms of docs they have asked for!
PLs throw some light on this issue,
Ankur

Dear Nit4canada:

  • Does the 3-4 weeks apply to Old Applications as well?
  • The letter requesting Passport read "request for passport/s at this stage does not guarantee approval of PR application". What could this mean?

Hi Square111,

3-4 weeks time period is applicable who have applied in the new fast track scheme. For old scheme applicants it can take 3-6 months as per the forum posts..

You are right, the request for passport does not guarantee visa because the High Commission will still be making background enquiries and security checks on various databases. But normally if passport request is made, then chances of grant of visa is very high if the applicant's background history is clean. Thank you..

Hi all!
Happy diwali !
I have today reecived med request along with PPR!
I am planning to do it after thursday so lets hope everything goes well!

Passport request usually follows within 2 months time if you have applied under the new regulations.
