Hey there everyone ! I am admitted to university of victoria for Master of Engineering in Electrical & Computer Eng. Now i am planning to apply for study permit , please tell me what total amount should i show in bank statement (i am from india)

my 1 year tuition fee : CAD 6300
Program Length : 1 year

regards

You need to show tuition + $10K first year living expenses + travel expenses. So you should show at least $18K.

thanks for your reply, i want to show the amount which can fully convince them , Is cad 20,000 a 'good enough' amount in my case or I should arrange higher amount( It will be hard for to arrange higher than 20k but its necessary, I will invest time to arrange that)
Is it good enough to show statement of previous 4 months or a longer time is necessary ?

please help me

thank you

Note that showing much money doesn't always secure visa. So don't try to show what you don't have.Because they see constant income.

dipta, you are right, btw my dad is retired from post of a lecturer, mom is currently principal at a primary school , what kind of documents will show 'constant income' in my case ?

just show them your bank statement where you have money depositing every month and there is a minimum amount left at the end of each month.
