How Much Longer?

I applied as a skilled worker and got response in June 2006. My application was transfered from South America to South Africa., Iwas told my time is still from June 2006. Now 42 months gone by I am still waiting.

Can someone tell me if I can also apply under the new arrangement for skilled workers or how much longer I have to wait?I am an accountant/auditor.

check the duties of 1111 and 0111 and see if you do those duties. I think both are on the list. If you those are on the magic 38 list, then you should apply with the new scheme without canceling the old scheme.

You can cancel one of them at a later stage. CASA should qualify for both 1111 and 0111, depending on experience, but check out the duties anyway.

Hey Rup,
thanks for response and advice. I checked but I am still a little confused. I am teaching accounts (8yrs)at the moment, prior to this worked as internal auditor (6). I have BSc Accounting and upto F8 Acca, just did F9 and P1 Dec 09. can you help me witht the points on qualification, please?

I have no idea what f8, f9, etc are.

If you have the required number of years of education, you can get at least 20 points.
If ACCA is a three year certificate course and you have the required number of education, you can get 22 points.
