How much is a driver's license in Canada?

I will study in Canada and I also want to do my driver's license there. In my country, it's like 2000€ to get a driver's license...that's a lot!

How much is it in Canada British Columbia? Is it much cheaper? Does anyone know?

If you go thro driving school, they will charge around $600 for 10 classes.
