How much funds required? (1 month stated trip)

My husband showed over 12,000.00 CDN in his account, and full paid assessment of his home in India (in centre of Srinagar city which is an expensive area to live). The rejection letter had all the boxes for assets / funds available checked as the reasons. Wondering, just in general, how much money does one require to come here for a month? Should we up it to 20,000.00 CDN in his account and try again? Or is that still too low?

That probably means someone made a large deposit into his account recently. Usually thats the main reason to refuse someone with such a large balance
