How much cash does a visitor need?

Hi there,
I'm planning to invite my mom, her husband and my sister to visit (I'm PR). She and her husband both work, but don't have a large amount of savings in a bank, so I'm wondering how much money would CIC want to see for a family of three? Would paystubs be enough to prove they have enough income? Should they submit papers to show they own their house too?

Paystubs don't show that they can afford the trip. They need to show money in the bank to cover the whole trip. How much to show depends on the length of the trip, where they are going, what they plan to do etc.
