I received offer letter from a university located in Novascotia. I am planning to submit my application for student visa next month.
My query is: How much capital should I show in Financial Support Statement for student visa?
In the offer letter they quoted an estimated cost as follows -
Tuition Fee 1st year: CAD 11,524
Tuition Fee 2nd year: CAD 11,524
ASU Fees: CAD 296
Estimated cost of books, equipment and supplies: CAD 1,800
Campus Room and Board (optional): CAD 9,328 - 13,102
Medical Insurance: CAD 750 (single); CAD 1500 (family)
Dental Insurance: CAD 165 (single); CAD 350 (family)
The fees quoted are for the 2017-18 academic year. The eight-month academic year starts in September and ends in April. Basic living costs for each of the remaining four months of the calendar year are at least CAD 1200 per month.
