how many times you request to redo medicals

Hi,

I have applied to sponsor my 3 kids who live now with their mother outside Canada, ( we r divorced ) we got approval on feb 2023 and medical request was sent but I couldnt bring the kids for one year, and before expirary of their medicals i requested to redo their medicals and got a new request on april 2024 which is valid for one year.

again, i cant bring the kids again as i cant raise the kids by myself, and their mother is trying to get a work permit so she can also stay in canada while raising the kids together,

if i request new medicals this time, it will be second time,

how many times can the sponsor request to redo the medicals.

also is there a period for a file to be open,

i'm confused, why are you sponsoring them if you can't raise them by yourself?
more importantly, do you share any custody with their mother?
