the office I'm getting my medical done at has offered my 8 photos for $8, and they will be taking 3 of them. Is that enough?

3 is enough for the medicals, then you need additional for your application, it depends on the VO, so check the regional guide to make sure.

Correction actually - for whatever reasons some DMPs asks for 3, some for 5.
Best would be to give them a call to check in advance so you can be prepared and have the medicals done without trouble...
Best of luck,

I guess you have 24 identical photos, right?

I think you should be fine. I used 3 or 4 for medical and 9 for application. My VO is in Manila.

Well, I just want to get all of my photos and I don't want to over-pay.

Getting all your photos done at the same time would be really wise. I wish I did that!

For US applicants, (by your profile info, seems like you are too!) we need to include 4 in the application. Then there are the additional pics for the medical. I've been hearing different numbers given by people getting their meds done, it would be best to clarify it with the physician's office.

I am sponsoring my wife fro Pakistan and we are Afghan. Base on the information on part 3 for Afghanistan we are required to have 8 photos. I don't know about your case but read part 3 based on your regional.
