How long would it take after Passport request call from CIC???

Hi all,

Below is timeline for my sponsor and my application. Please share your experiences.... now how long would it take for visa? And what will be the next stage?

Sponsorship timeline:
We received your application to sponsor on March 20, 2012.

We sent you a letter on August 20, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Permanent Residence application timeline:
We received application for permanent residence on March 20, 2012.

We started processing application on September 05, 2013.

interview is September 05, 2013.

Medical (second time) results have been received on October 15, 2013.

Passport request (second time) call received on October 25, 2013

Please share your experiences. What will be the next?

Hello. Did you get your pr status already? What the reason for the delays and 2nd examination for? Thanks

Lots of PR applications take over a year, it isn't necessarily a delay.

Your medical expires after 1 year of taking it and often the VO asks for you to do another one.
