How long will I wait between my citizenship test and the ceremony?

Hi,

I would like to know how long is the waiting time between the citizenship test and the ceremony. I did my test on October 16th 2017 in Montreal. Many friends that had their test at the beginning of the year in Montreal, had the ceremony after 6 weeks. Another friend that passed the test on July 26th hasn't been called. It seems like there is a delay in the processing time after this summer. Do you guys have any news?

Depends on the office. We were told in Vancouver between 3 and 5 months but in fact, I got my invitation after six weeks. I think they only said it as they do not want to get phone calls from people asking them when their oath taking will take place.
