How long we should wait before asking Que to CIC

Still in process. I submit PVR(Passport Verification Cert.) instead of PCC. as Regional passport office suggested.

As of November 24, 2012 did not get passport back.
Can someone tell me what can be reason why my wife don't got passport back.

Does anyone who have submited PVC instead of PCC and have success or failure story.

PCC or PVC is accepted by Canadian Visa Office.
Usually it can take up to 8 weeks for a passport return. If you think your wife's passport is delayed considerably at the High commission Office, she can send an inquiry letter to VO.
