If I get a job how long will it take to get a LMO? And the work visa?

Hi Rod,

It depends on the province and the type of Job.....a max of 6 months for LMO and 1 month for WP.

There is a CIC webpg too...could not find it right now.

Found it : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp/workers.asp

It seems the processing times have increased considerably ...from 1 -3 months for Seattle, Buffalo

Hi Rod,

The last time I checked (in Nov, 2011) was 4-5 months in Alberta. The Info was from an Immigration office at an University.

...I got my positive LMO after 13 weeks and 3 days from Ontario....hope this helps
