Dear Members,

I have recently joined in this group. I am from Bangladesh. I recently uploaded my EE profile. My CRS score is 430. I have a question regarding Proof of Fund.

I have some investments in stock market (20% of funds I intend to show as POF), and I have some money invested in govt bonds (80%). Considering current cutoff CRS score of 442 (as of 11th july 2018) I think it is still quite uncertain for me to get ITA. Last month I opened a second bank account for this purpose only (other account is my salary account). I plan to start liquidating everything if CRS cutoff gets near 435.

Now, my question is – is it required that the money remains in my account for 6 months or more? If it remains in my account for less than 6 months will it cause my application to be refused? Also, if my bank account is opened recently, will it raise any concern?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions !

there is no 6 month requirement. all that matters is funds are in your name and easily liquidable.

not to make you feel bad, its highly impossible that CRS will go below 440....they want to keep it as high as possible to get 3750 final applications.try to improve on ielts....there is no other way....
