How long the English test IELTS is valid?

Because I am doing a "come to Canada" wizard, using a IELTS from Sept 2014 and the system replies that I appear to be eligible to apply.

Another buddy told me that the test lasts only 1 year, like a piece of cheese, so not sure what is the true.

It's valid for 2 years. Please check for other eligibility parameters. Good luck!!

Alright, so in few words, I have to get invited and apply again within one year of medical test the date...

the deadline date is referred to the day you submit all the stuff after the invitation?
