How long it will delay after provide additional documents for Open work permit?

Hi Everyone, Please help.

March 11, I submit the application for my open work permit. After two months waiting, I'm told I have to provide some additional documents...I did that yesterday.
Do you know how long it will take to start the process again? Do I have to wait another 2 months?

HI ,
I would like to get some suggesstion from you .
my name is Amanpreet kaur . basically i am a registered nurse of india and came to canada before two years for post graduation in palliative care nursing and i also did GAS programm . i got two year open work permit .
i also passed my registered practical exam (RPN) in ontario and waiting for the licence .
but ,
i got a job as a live in caregiver full time in vancouver. i moved from ontario in march . I already signed a one year contract .Is it possible to apply Permanant resident with this position as i am not under the care giver programme which phillipino's do .

and how can i call my husband here before my PR ??
i need a suggestion urgently . looking forward to hear from you soon .
so my case is opposite.do i need a closed permit for applying PR under live in caregiver??

Its hard to say. I suppose it varies depends on the visa office. I made the same payment on April 14 and still nothing. Good luck

Which office you applied? in Canada or outside of Canada?

I faced the same situation, I handed in the fee on May 1st and my work permit got approved on the 11th. CIC usually would get back to you in 14 days after the payment, as least that's what I heard.Hope this helps.

Hello guys,

I have issue regarding my work permit. I applied on the 10th of April 2015 (paid and submitted my application). According to online processing time, it will take 6 weeks. Now 6 weeks is over and no news, messages and updates from CIC. I called them, they all gave me different reasons.

Please this is for luan8526, Daisyli122 and anyone in my situation (IEC/CIC open work permit), have you been given your letter of introduction for POE ?

Congrats Man..!
I applied my work permit on 11th March, and received email to pay 100$ on May 24th. I paid the same day, but my status is still open.
Can you suggest why? and also, have you received your work permit by mail or not yet?
