How long is the interview for confirmation of PR?

Hi all

We have an interview in 1.5 weeks and my wife, working in health services, needs to know exactly how long she can be away from the hospital.

We have a relatively straight-forward situation. She has a kid, we both work here in Canada, no criminal history except some stupid minor thing over 10 years ago when I was 19, no debts or CCJ or bankruptcy filed, etc.

Hour? Half a day? 5 minutes to sign paperwork?

I see on your other thread you have your COPR, so you are doing a landing interview. Those are pretty quick. As for your other question, Since it's your wife's name I don't think it will matter at all. I have my maiden name on my spouse's COPR and there have been no issues.

Our interview was an outland one and it was about 1.5 hours....If yours is a Landing Interview it maybe another story...Are they asking for info on the minor situation 10 years ago?...with us they wanted the court docs from a situations my hubby was in 25 years ago..
