How long is notarization of parent's marriage certificate good for?

My parents have the notarization done in 2014, can I still use it to apply for them in 2017?

I dont think there is a requirement , I used in my process documents that were translated and notarized years before my application (birth certificates, my own marriege certificate, etc)

Thanks, by the way did you translate and notarize ur parents ' passport? My parents ' passport has entry/exit stamps with non English and French words, but the information pages are all in English. Not sure if I will need translation because of the stamps.
