I have been to Canada for more than 11 years. Got Bechalor degree and Master degree, have 4 years of full time work experience, 3 years of my 4 are post-grad NOC A work experience.

Still no PR.

Anyone here beat me in this record? How long have you been to Canada and still no PR?

Long time indeed, you should be a citizen by now.

Long story short is during my undergrad and grad I was not eligible. Ofc schools want my money if I were eligible for PR I wouldn't pay international tuition. When I get full time job I applied PNP which took 1.5 years for nomination, so I re-applied to CEC and I am September 2014 CEC applicant.

0 days in Canada, I only saw Canada twice. From US side at Detroit and Niagara.

Expect to have PPR in a month or 2.

I spent 8 years in Canada before I got my PR. it was a long journey.

Have lived in Canada (2001-5, 2012 till now) for 8 years, 5.5 years as international studemt.. Passport already sent for COPR.
Lived here since 2005 and just got PR in June 2015. Almost 10 years to get PR....

I first started working in Canada December 2011. Left in October 2013 to take a temporary job overseas and get married, then returned to Canada November 2014 and I'm still here now. I qualified to apply under CEC back in January 2013 and I really REALLY wish I had applied immediately. CEC was wayyyy faster back then and I'd certainly have PR by now. Instead I procrastinated and didn't submit my application until August 2014, so I now am stuck in an interminable wait along with the rest of the 2014 CEC applicants.

Wow your timelines and mine are very much similar, Started working in Dec 2011 and should have applied in early 2013 :(.

Applied Aug 2014, Now this is biting on my ahem!! :'( with this delay.

Best Regards,

Already 4 years and counting.

Still waiting for PR. :(

Came to Canada in September 2012. Started to work on January 2013. I have lived all the time here ever since, and have the same job still. My husband is still pursuing his Bachelor degree. My Open Work Permit will expire in May 2016 along with my passport.

As other person said here, I procrastinated and didn't send my application when I was eligible in January 2014 and sent it in August 2014 instead (well, it does take time to gather all the requirements, book the English test, etc).

I was so naive thinking mine would be as fast as a coworker, who submitted her application on Nov 2013 and got his PR in Jun 2014 :-[

What frustrates me the most, is the fact that many of us have proven to have all what the government looks for in an ideal immigrant: high language proficiency, get a professional job in your area, to be able to integrate to society and contribute to it, do not abuse or overuse health system, etc. And other people that have never been to Canada, have got their PR's faster than us.

I understand that the fact I have paid my taxes all these years (thousands and thousands) doesn't give me the right to have a PR. But it just bugs the unfairness we have been treated with. For some of us, coming here was just not a caprice, and unfortunately going back to our countries is not an option.

So, no one replied to beat my length of stay in Canada. I must be the champion of staying in Canada without PR! So sad and this is a such shameful title
