I'm just wondering what are the processing times for FBI Background Checks lately?

How long did it take you to get yours if it was recent?

Is there any way to contact FBI to get the status?

It can take 6-12 weeks and there's no way to contact them to ask about the status as far as I know. I e-mailed once, never got a reply. Ours took 6 weeks to the day.

Yes it will take minimum 6 weeks .. Try emailing : liaison@leo.gov or call : 304-625-5590 ( 8:00 am to 8:00 pm EST)

background cheaks are done by csis u can fax them and they do reply via regular mail
