Hi everyone!

I am new to this forum (so forgive me please if it is a duplicate post or something) but was wondering if anyone had inputs on what I can expect in my situation. I submitted my Application for Permanent Residence under Provincial nomination category (Saskatchewan). The application was received on April 22, 2014 and soon after, I got my medical request which was done sometime in June. I paid my RPRF fee in September 2014. I notice that the CIC website online services still reads Line 2 as "Medical results have been received" and no third line "We started processing your application on date so and so". One of my friends who had applied a month before I did, got her 3rd line back in September 2014!
Anyway, I recently received two separate emails (1st on Jan 29th and second one on Jan 30th) from CIC. They were requesting updated Personal history form Schedule A on the first email and the second one was to request for Employment Letter from my organization. I provided both of these documents to CIC the very next day upon receipt of requests.

My questions:
1. Is it normal for CIC to not update the status online for the 3rd line? Considering that CIC asked for the updated documents (Schedule A and Employment Record Letter), am I safe to assume that my application is actually in process?
2. How much longer do you think it would take for CIC to reach a decision how that they had my file on their table?

Any inputs from you will be greatly appreciated! Great day.
