How long does it take to receive the biometrics letter?

Hi everyone.
I live in iran and I have submitted my online application 2 days ago but i haven't received my biometrics letter yet.
I am travelling to Dubai for this reason and I have tickets for next week. I am very concerned about what happens if I didn't get my letter by the end of my trip.
Is it possible to appoint myself in VAC of Dubai and give my biometrics without presenting the letter?
What should I do? Please help

Hi,

It could take between 24-48 hours to get the Biometrics Instruction Letter (BIL). Some applicants have reported getting them after a few days, whereas one recent case received the BIL only after he emailed the visa office.

No, VFS will not take your biometrics without the BILs.

You may want to email the visa office for this + include your flight tickets
