So my case is a bit unusual. I took the test on October 3rd. But I was asked to present my police clearance on the same date. So I mailed my clearance on October 19 and CIC received it on the next day. On October 21, my status changed to "decision made" but nothing new after I click into the link to see more details.
I hope this is a positive decision and I am 99.9% sure since my test result was perfect, interview was very smooth and more importantly my record is clean. So does anyone know how long it will take to receive the oath letter for my case? I appreciate your reply and hope everyone will join the Canadian family very soon!

depending upon the oath schedule availability in your city, it can be anytime around 1 to 3 months approximately. Keep checking your email/e-cas/physical mailbox regularly for any updates.

Hi,
What do you mean by " police clearance " ? Is it the fingerprints or some thing else? Did you received a letter telling you what is required and what to do or they have told you that during the interview? How did you know that CIC have received results on the next day?
Thanks

Bascially, a police clearance is a record showing that you have not committed any crime in another country which you have stayed for more than 6 months over the 6 year period for you citizenship application. I received the letter during the interview. Once i got the "police clearance" from another country, I mailed it to a specific address stated in the letter through Canada post. I had tracking so I knew it arrived on the next day.

Thank you so much my dear. I just thought it was the fingerprints request.
Wish you a very good luck
