How long does it take to get a response from universities?

I have applied for master's degrees at the University of Ottawa and the University of Windsor. It has been more than a month it still shows the status in process. How long will it take to get a response?

Need to find out when graduate admission committee meets. If for fall admission, it may not meet until March or April.
