Hi how long does it take for them to renew a pr card. It looks like they are taking a hell of a time to issue a new pr card. I applied last June 2017 and still nothing.. Received a secondary review email back in August and that's it... No update so far?

Well, it seems like there are some issues with yours; you better call and find out. The processing time for a PR card renewal is 80 days according to IRCC website.

Well mine also similar timeline. Once it goes to secondary, it is IRCCs sweet discretion. Anywhere from 6 months to 1 year. The change in citizenship rules has made it worse. Probably they have moved officers to citizenship section as that is of higher priority for IRCC. I ordered my ATIP officers notes, it took 45 days , they are expected to give that in 30 days. After reading the notes I realized they haven’t touched it since it went to secondary. Hopefully they will next month. That’s my guess.
