Guys,
Has any body requested CIC for mailing address update after submission of the application (and before AOR# issue)? How long does CIC take to update your mailing address? Please share your experiences.
Thanks
chow
Since you haven't recieve the AOR number, All you need to do is email them your name, Last name, DOB, Date packet was delivered, Draft bank, address and all details for identificaton of your packet and tell them that you wanna recieve all future correspondence at New Hampshire address (or whatever the new address) while you applied from North Carolina (Current address) and then they will put a note/message in system with your file So anytime any Visa Officer will click on your file He will come to know that you used to live in North Carolina but now in New Hampshire. Accordingly they will send AOR at New Hampshire address.
Thank you for your information.
I would like to give you some more information on my files. I have 2 applications processing concurrently at CIC Buffalo VISA office .
1. FSW: Submitted (03/26/2008) AOR#(08/2008) : After that no update
2. AINP : Submitted (02/13/2009) AOR#: Not Received Yes
I decided to cancel my representative in 2nd week of March 2009 and then I faxed my completed "Use of Representative Form" to cancel representative.
After that I also sent them the same original form with a letter about my submission of files details thru FedEx.
When I submitted my AINP file to CIC, there was not a requirement to submit US states PCCs, So I applied for 3 states. Once I received 3 US States PCCs from 3 sates I sent them with a letter "PCCs and Mailing Address" referring to only my AINP file thru FedEx. I also included a copy of representative cancellation from in that mail. This was already reached to them.
Why I am worrying is when I see my FSW application status online, it is still showing mailing address as my Rep address.
I think I am good. But I don't let CIC to send any future correspondence to my rep I used before and cancelled now. As per others time lines I may hear some news in next 2-3 weeks on my AINP file submitted on Feb 13.
What do you suggest? Do I need to send a fax for "mailing address" change again. I don't want to waste their valuable time.
Thanks
