Hello Sir or Madam,

After I submit the Canada Citizenship Application, can I leave Canada back to my home country until I am called to attend the citizenship test? Could it affect my application? Assuming I hire a lawyer to be a representative and receive mail from IRCC.

You just have to maintain the PR obligations while your Citizenship is in process.

You can leave wherever you want to, but you're supposed to inform ircc via webform about your travel details outside Canada. You should also mention the dates (from - until).
