How long between AOR and change status into "In process"

I am July 2013 Applicant ..

As per my timeline, i had received my AOR on September 18, 2013 and MR on September 23, 2013.

it is now almost near 5 month since AOR and no change in my status from "Application Received", also, no additional documents were requested from CIC. I did not expect RFPR fee as i paid it with the application fees.

I sent inquiry to CIC less than 2 weeks ago and i got a response"

"Your file is in Ottawa for processing and will be reviewed by one of our officers.
Medical Results:
We have received your medical results
Case Status:
An officer will be in contact with you in due course, in the meanwhile, we would ask for your patience and for you not to send follow-up requests for status to our office.

Anyone is experiencing the same?
How long between AOR and change status into "In process"?

Some times ecas doesn't update to in process, if ur file is in Ottawa means u r file is in process. Have u paid rprf fees?

I received my RPRF request today and my medicals were received on october 28,2013. they asked for my PCC
and finger prints as well

Can u share ur complete timeline and does ur application shows in process or still showing application received because I did my medical on 22nd oct and they received around the same time as yours and still the status is application received.

No they did not send me any email
