how long after you get email (London uk)

HI I got an email from Canda to say I have been approved and it has been sent to the london office
how long does it take after this? and does that mean they dont need anything else? thanks

Hey thisdj1,

Congratulations on your approval! you must be excited. London office average time is 7 months, but a lot of cases get done before that, so you might hear from them before.
Which office did you get the email from ? CIC - MIssissauga?
If your file was complete before you sent it (medicals, police records etc) then there is nothing for you to do, apart from waiting for them to contact you. in a few days you can check ecas with your UCI, and see some changes from time to time.

yes our application was sent to Missig ontario.
and yes we sent the complete application with med report and police.

so I guess we have to sit back and see what happens!

have you heard anything? are you from the UK

Hey Thisdj1,

I sent my application and it arrived in Mississauga on the 12th of April, so nothing for the moment, by the look of approval rates, it will be another month before we hear anything...
I'm going through London VO, as it's the office of reference for scandinavian residents, so once the sponsorship is approved (hopefully!) our file will be transferred to London - and then waiting again...so I will be watching closely the UK thread to see how long it takes to get approval from them...
I hope you will hear from London office soon, if your file is complete then no need to worry, but I understand that waiting is stressful - I'm trying to tell myself that I should not hear anything from CIC-M before mid july, but it seems so far away!

My status has changed now to decision mader and letter was sent on the 1st June? weird as only on the 1st of June they said they sent file to Uk and that I have been approved?could it be they have already made the decision? postive or negetive

I am not sure how to answer your question as I have never been in that case, so I hope that a more senior member can answer that, but indeed it seems quite fast, so a bit unlikely.
but I can never be sure. Good luck with finding out!
