After you get PR, you have to have lived in Canada for 3 years (1095 days) out of the last 4 years. If you are in Canada on a temporary permit before you get PR, you can count each day as half day. Say you are in BC for 10 months before you get PR, you can count that as 5 months, then you need 2 years + 7 months more to apply for citizenship. During this time, if you go on vacation one month, you add that month. Processing citizenship takes on average 13 months. For me took 2 and a half years so no guarantees there.
