How long after an application is received by CIC is it returned for mistakes

November 28th 2017 applicant and I missed a signature on one of the forms but the package has not been returned as yet

It can take more than two months for sure

December would have been a slow month anyway with 3 statutory holidays (Dec 25, 26, Jan 1) between then and now. They would have returned it when otherwise you would have received AOR1 which can be anywhere between 3-6 weeks (on average) from when it arrived in their mailroom. And if your home address is outside Canada the time it takes to return to you could be affected by where you live.

AOR is taking 8 weeks right now. Your application will certainly be returned
