I got a e-mail from the Singapore office on the 15 of july asking to send back medical, police certificate, pictures and an update of the IM008's... I also paid the fees for the Right of Permanent Residence. Everything was done quickly and arrived inSingapore on the 27 of july. Now I am just wishing to know what could be the next step and how it could take before I have a reply from them.

TKS for you help... ;) ;) ;)

They will not reply to your sending them documents. They will contact you only if they want something more (documents or interview), or if they made a decision about your application.

If you want to know what's happening with your file, you should ask for your GCMS notes.

That's crazy, you say you have a "straight forward case", yet it took them Oct 2011 to August 2013 (20 months) to even get to the medical stage?

And how was your wife able to successfuly get a TRV after you submitted your PR application? Did she have a good job, lots of family back home, etc?

So what I hear from you it seems to be a good news for us... and for the rest.... she has nothing special ooooopsss sorry my lady....you are special to me... I go to visit my wife in her country at least 3 months a year since 2009... We have a lot of picture with my and her family, travel tickets, hotels voucher and that we communicate almost everyday when we were apart ... We showed that we share our things together.... finance, bank account, insurance etc. She does not have many things on her name. She stop to work before we had big wedding ceremony in her town last year (1000 pictures) after we got married in 2011.... Now... she does not work anymore because she is here with me. We just sent a well organize folder with a lot of things that showed that we really married and we share everything in life.... That's about it... not more... not less..... and no lies. :'( :'( :'(

No. I was just saying that the average processing time for the VO in Singapore is 26 months, so a wait of 20 months is not unusual.

That's what I thought.... so far nobody tell me what would be the delay from the moment they've been asking me for the documents that I had already sent the first time (medical, police vert., photos... etc.)...

Thank a lot for your help...
