I'm just wondering how many points you get from specifying foreign part-time work (20 hours/week from January of 2013 until February 2015).

Reason is that I've received my ITA, but I'm having troubles getting a reference letter for this job. In the IRCC portal, they have an option to upload the reference for this job. My ex-employer has had an accident and may not be able to write it (it was for a business he ran).

Without knowing the exact number of weeks, it is more than one year of FTE experience, but less than 2. So you would have gotten points for one year of foreign work experience. Assuming you are not married, depending on your language scores and/or Canadian experience, I think it's worth between 13-26 points.

Would it be possible for you to write the letter, and have him review it / sign it? Or is he completely unable to attend to this (at this time)? Is there another person at the company that could sign the letter?

If it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to obtain the letter, do you have any alternative documentation? Job offer letter, job description, contracts, paystubs and/or tax documents, etc? You can submit a letter of explanation of why your former employer is not able to provide the letter (along with some proof), accompanied with the alternative documentation. Can't say for certain if IRCC will accept it, but you will definitely lose the points if you submit nothing.
