Dear Members,

Please help me I have PR and I always in and out because I have job in USA is there anyway or any tricks like I can prove them I am in Canada last five yrs so I can apply my citizenship? This infromation really will help to one of my very good friend.

Thanks in advance.

God bless All.

Sorry to say but there are no tricks. You need 3 Years in Canada to apply for the citizenship, not 5.

You need to show 3 years in Canada out of the last 4 years. Anytime, you were in Canada in the last 4 years before you were became a PR would be counted as half.

The trick is to show using your passport stamp i guess. I agree with New Yorker, there is no real trick. Its a matter of showing it or not, like through boarding passes, etc.

If you have been living in Canada, you would have a lease or some way of proving where you have been living. To prove that you have actually been staying at that address, that it's not an empty rented apartment, you could for example send them copies of your water and power bills, phone bills from this address, bank statements showing that you've been using ATM's and making purchases in Canada etc.

Thank you so much LEON, RUPESHARI, NEWYOURKER for your advice and suggestion God bless.
