How hard is to get in? Like playing lottery?

I live in Montreal and my girlfriend is in Philippines.
She will graduate as a medical laboratory technician this march then she plans to get a job to get experience for 2 years and then
she plans to apply to come to work in Canada as a skilled worker.(that gives her a PR status right?)

What are her odds?
There must be millions like her, craving to escape their poor countries, so it's like winning the lottery , right?

No - working as a skilled worker in Canada doesn't automatically give you PR status - but it does make things easier.

Likely the most difficult part of this plan will be finding an employer in Canada.
