How does it works when CIC disapproves your student visa application?

Will they close your request?
Will they give you a chance to review your request?

I'm afraid that I didn't give much information to confirm my local ties.
I've added all my bank account receipts, my payroll, tax income documents and also a letter written by hand by my father stating that he will help me pay my studies plus any more financial help that I may need.

Is that enough?

No other letter or confirmation was asked when applying for my student visa.
